BLOOM ELEMENTARY

OWNER: JEFFERSON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
COMPLETION DATE: SPRING 2005

Renovation and addition to an urban elementary school on a 0.66 acre site, originally built in 1888. Integration of modern systems, new technology, and new materials, provided a challenge and demanded an understanding of educational and construction requirements. This historic building has many irreplaceable materials, that, though they are more than 100 years old, will provide continued service with proper restoration.
